Clazy (Clang Lazy) is a new Qt oriented static analyzer implemented as a clang plugin that helps to improve the performance of your Qt applications and libraries. Clang is a C/C++ frontend for the LLVM compiler infrastructure that is not used in the Sailfish OS SDK but can be used by it to at least perform the code analysis. Weiterlesen →

My apps using Qt/QML WebView on Sailfish OS (ocNews, Chennzeihhan and Markat) have issues with diplaying websites in the integrated app webview (SilicaWebView) on OS version 18.104.22.168 (Vaarainjärvi). Opening URLs there do not load the website, but only showing a white screen. Nothing crashes, there is only no content loaded and displayed. There is a quite easy workaround for this issue. All you need is a file manager app that can display hidden files and folders.
Markat version 0.5.0 is available in the Jolla Store since this morning. This version is the first release that features a integration into your eBay account by authenticating Markat to use your account. After you authenticated Markat you are able to watch your buyer lists in Markat and watched items are synchronized to your eBay account. There is still no support for direct buying/bidding in Markat, but I am working on it. Because Markat currently only supports basic buyer actions like watching items and opening them in the web browser, the MyEbay page in Markat shows only the lists that belong to buying stuff on eBay.
Markat version 0.4.0 was today released to Jolla Store. It now features all possible search routes provided by the eBay API and presents to you a new starting page, inspired by the Jolla Store client layout. This should give you a nicer and more comprehensive overview of eBay items you are interested in.
If you are interested in items that are popular on eBay, there are now more ways and pages to find most watched and popular items (general and per category), as well as top selling products (general).
One day after Framrekkari was initially released to Jolla store on Sailfish OS powered devices, the first major update is released and available at the same place. Framrekkari 1.1.0 completes the translation work flow by implementing the ability to mark strings as reviewed or not reviewed. Marking items as reviewed/not reviewed is possible directly on the translation page as well as int the string list (by context menu/press and hold). Because of the limitations in the Transifex API you have again to know by yourself if your user account has access granted to these operation on the chosen project.
You are not a coder but you can speak different languages and want to help software projects to be available in your native or any other language you speak? Then there is most probably a way for you to help. Many free software projects are using platforms like Transifex to translate their content into different languages. With Framrekkari, a client for these services, that currently supports the Transifex API, it is now possible for you to translate everywhere on your Sailfish OS powered device.
Today Markat version 0.3.0 was released to Jolla store. Markat is a native Sailfish OS client for eBay, you can find more information about it here. Version 0.3.0 brings a new display mode for search results that shows big gallery pictures of items, as well as user requested features like cover information about current searches and search for completed items. To track items you are interested in it is now possible to add them to a local list of watched items that is shown on the start page. Clicking on a seller in the item view now shows up the feedback that the seller received.
Today Markat version 0.2.0 was released to Jolla Store. This intermediate release brings some new features and UI improvements.
Most prominent new feature is the support for item variations/options, like different colors and sizes.
Auction items in search result lists are now automatically updated every 6 – 20 seconds. This behaviour can be switched off in the settings, as you can now also do with automatic updates in item view.
To make searches more comfortable it is now possible to store searches (at least their parameters) locally for future use.
I am planning to release version 0.3.0 next week with complete integration of shopping and finding API (still no in app orders and bid placement, that is trading API). There will also be more UI improvements.
If you own a Jolla phone, powered by the new and incredible Sailfish operating system, and if you like to browse through the endless offers on eBay to find interesting stuff, then Markat might be the right App for you. Markat (old high german for market) is a native Sailfish OS client for the eBay API. It allows currently to browse the categories, search for stuff based on keywords and lets you filter your results. But all of this in the swipe based Sailfish way.
They could keep their promise with the delivery in December… :) So, porting ocNews to Sailfish OS can start.
