Flat Feeds Main View

I am happy to announce the availability of version 1.6.0 of ocNews, the ownCloud News App client for MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan (Nokia N9) and Jolla SailfishOS. This new version brings some new features, fixes, changes and translations.

First thing to mention is, that it is now possible to choose between two different layouts for the main/start view. There is still the old folder centred view, that displays your folders and a click on it brings you to their feeds. The new view is a flat feed view, where all feeds are displayed on one page, categorized by their parent folders. You can change your preferred layout in the settings.

Thanks to Mariano Flotron, Lorenzo Facca, finalmix, gwmgdemj and Antoine Vacher, ocNews is now available in Chinese(China), English, French, German, Italian (currently only Sailfish OS) and Spanish. Antoine also helped with UI stuff and ideas.

Beside the new main view layout, ocNews 1.6.0 engine/daemon now reacts to changes in the network connection (only on Harmattan) and app configuration. After changing into a different network or saving the app configuration, the daemon checks if it is time to perform a complete update (if you have activated that feature and the last update was longer ago than the set update interval).

Smaller changes affect the indication of feeds and folders with no unread articles and other minor UI and bug fixes. You can find the complete change log over here.
