There’s life in the old dog yet. Yes, Nokia under Elop did not love the N9 really, but the community did – and many love it still today. So, here is something for the people that don’t have their Jolla yet.
ocNews is a client app for the ownCloud News Application, a cloud based Atom/RSS feed aggregator. It is designed for the Nokia N9 mobile phone and it’s MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan operating system. The next step will be Jolla’s Sailfish OS.
Currently version 1.2.4 is available in the Nokia Store, version 1.3.0 is already on it’s way to it. Sources are coming soon.
Ich habe meine nicht vorhandene US-Flagge auch nicht auf Halbmast gesetzt. Ein Sheriff irgendwo in South Carolina im Süden der USA hat natürlich die passende Fahne, und die hing sogar schon auf Halbmast, aber entgegen Obamas Anweisung setzte er sie wieder auf Vollmast. Toll. Nelson Mandelas Tot ist ihm also egal. Und in China ist etwas umgefallen.
Warum also beglückt uns Spiegel Online nun mit dieser Sensation? Na, es passt so wunderbar ins Klischee des tumben, ewig rassistischen US-Südstaatlers. Da ist die deutsche Empörungsseele gleich so richtig befriedigt. Und genau darum geht es ja.
